Sync pilot David is framed by his wife Yara's old flame Marcus and stripped of his rank. Rejected by Yara, he divorces her and takes a one-way mission to destroy the alien Mothership. Yara uncovers the truth too late. David survives a heroic detonation, but their final Sync reads 0%. As Yara begs for another chance, David finds a 99% match with gifted pilot Kate, defeats Marcus, and chooses a new partner and a new life.
